1- Year Product Warranty

All our products are fully warranted to the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year from the date of purchase. If a product fails due to manufacturing defects, we will repair or replace it, at our discretion. If damage occurs due to normal or extended wear, an accident, improper care or negligence on the part of the owner, we will repair the product for a charge that we deem to be reasonable, or we will notify you to inform you that we cannot be repaired it to a standard we consider to be durable and lasting.

Our warranty does not cover tears, rips, or snags caused to the fabric, as these are not considered defects in materials or workmanship unless you received it that way, in which let us know within 1-week from the date of purchase and send it back to us. Warranty work will only be done with proof of purchase from Half Scale.

Our warranty becomes null and void on ANY garment washed in, or exposed to, hot water, ironing, or placed in a dryer.

Silk screening, or heat transferring on, any garment will ruin or shorten its life of the garment. Our warranty becomes null and void on ANY garment that is silk-screened, heat transferred, embroidered, or otherwise altered before or after purchase. 

Lifetime Service

In order to ensure you are always looking your best, beyond 1-year warranty, we offer lifetime tailoring and minor repairs at an extra cost on any clothing you purchase at Half Scale. Service will only be done with proof of purchase from Half Scale.

Need a seam repaired or a button replaced? Recently lost or gained weight? Bring your dry-cleaned garment in and we will make the necessary adjustments.

Please note that tailoring for weight loss or gain may be limited depending on the nature of your garment. Typically, we can adjust any tailored item up or down one size. Allow approximately one to two weeks to receive your altered garment.

Not sure if it’s fixable? Bring it in and we’ll take a look. We’ll always do our best to bring your garment back to its original beauty.

Note: 
  • Anything you buy from one of our authorized retailers is guaranteed through the retailer. All exchanges must then be done through the retailer where you purchased the product. Their policy may be different than ours so please ask before purchasing.
  • The products eligible for the lifetime service are covered by the original owner, for the lifetime of the product. Unfortunately, this does not mean your lifetime. Inevitably, well-used (and well-loved!) products will eventually wear out—fabrics will deteriorate, and colors will fade. Please use your judgment when assessing whether your product is likely to be covered under the lifetime service policy.
  • To be eligible for a warranty or lifetime service policy, either bring the clothes in person or mail it to us using a trackable shipping service for return.
